ETO Amadigi Costumes. Costumes created for English Touring Opera‘s ‘Amadigi‘ in October 2021. I worked on stitching a run of heavy-duty long coats that were were specifically shaped to fit over bulky chest armor. The coats were made of a suede-like fabric and backed with cotton drill. They areĀ  finished with handmade leather buckle closures down the centre front. These coats were made in multiples to fit additional covers and understudies. I also helped with general alterations and workroom assistant duties for other cast outfits. These ETO Amadigi costumes were completed in a fast paced environment with a wonderful team of makers and just over a week to get everything done.

This project was supervised by Cristiano Casimiro. All costume patterns and pleated dresses were created by Mattheu Nunes. Production photos by Richard Hubert Smith

More examples of my costume making work can be found on the costume portfolio page.
